Earlier on Saturday, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Modi and said people consider themselves fortunate to have witnessed the transformation of the age-old temple city into a 'world-class' city.

“It's a happy day for us. I am happy that Prime Minister Modi is coming here. The devotees of Lord Ram from all over the world can now visit Ayodhya as the new airport is opened to the public today. Folk dancers, dressed in traditional colorful attire, were seen performing their dance forms on Saturday ahead of the arrival of Prime Minister Modi.

Around 11.15 am, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the redeveloped Ayodhya railway station and flag off new Amrit Bharat and Vande Bharat trains. He will also dedicate several other railway projects to the nation.

He will inaugurate the newly constructed Ayodhya airport around 12.15 pm. Around 1 pm, Prime Minister Modi will take part in a public program in which he will inaugurate, delicately for the nation, and lay the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth over Rs 15,000 crore in the state. These include projects worth around Rs 11,100 crore for the development of Ayodhya and surrounding areas and projects worth around Rs 4,600 crore related to other projects in Uttar Pradesh.
