The cast of The Only Way Is Essex has revealed their hopes for Lauren Goodger’s return to the show, following claims she is ‘in talks’ for a comeback.
Chloe Brockett, Harry Derbidge, Elma Pazar, Saffron Lempriere and Junaid Ahmed all agreed that the original cast member would be a “perfect” addition to the current roster.
In an exclusive interview with MailOnline to promote the 31st series of the ITVBe show, Lauren’s name was initially mentioned by Harry.
He said, ‘If I could get someone to come back I think Lauren Goodger.
“Maybe she was in conversation at one point, it was definitely in the air. I would like Lauren to come back. I feel like she is now in a new chapter in her life.

“Junaid’s friends with her, I speak with her, the girls address her. So she would be the perfect person to bring back as an original.
“I think we should have some originals back. Me and Amy [Childs] can’t be the only ones.’
Harry’s co-stars rushed to agree that they would love to see the brunette beauty back on TOWIE.
In January it was reported that Lauren had been approached to return to the ITVBe show, with bosses trying to bring her back to the show that made her famous.
The reality star was one of the show’s original cast members, joining series one and leaving after series six, with her last appearance in 2016.
According to The sunbosses have been in talks with Lauren about a possible return that they believe will thrill longtime fans of the show.
A source said, “Towie is always in talks with former castmates to bring them back and Lauren is at the top of their wish list.
“She’s had talks with producers and while she hasn’t signed on the dotted line yet, the door is definitely wide open for her to come back.

“Lauren would be the big star of the show if she returned, and Amy Childs’ comeback proved to be a huge hit with viewers, so keep an eye on this space.”
The insider added that while the show is always adding new cast members, TOWIE’s original stars “bring a lot of buzz” and are a way to “bring back lapsed viewers.”
MailOnline reached out to Lauren’s reps for comment at the time.
The platform has been quiet in recent months after a difficult year in which she lost her second daughter Lorena in childbirth and had an acrimonious split with her ex-boyfriend Charles Drury.
