R’n’b performer Ginuwine passed out when he took part in a dangerous stunt for superstar magician Criss Angel’s Magic with the Stars in Las Vegas, Nevada, earlier this week.

In an exclusive video obtained by DailyMail.com, the 51-year-old Pony singer can be seen trying to hold his breath while submerged in a glass cube before hitting the sides to signal his distress.

According to an undisclosed source, paramedics were called to the scene when the performer — real name Elgin Baylor Lumpkin — was carried off the stage unconscious, though he is said to have later made a full recovery.

“It all happened so fast, it was like he was knocked out in a fight,” a source revealed.

On the show, he tried to overcome his fear of being underwater as he couldn’t hold his breath for more than 15 seconds before trying the stunt.

“Even though he failed in rehearsals, he still went through with the stunt on the show and everyone was in tears.

The list of celebrities joining Ginuwine on the show includes Donny Osmond, Frankie Muniz, Brec Bassinger, Debbie Gibson, Matt Walsh, Flavor Flav, Randy Couture, Johnny Weir, and Tara Lipinski.
