Fashion retailer M&Co has announced the date they will return, having closed all 170 High Street stores this year.

The closures between March and April were at the cost of an estimated 1,900 jobs.

The fashion giant, formerly known as Mackay’s, fell under administration in December 2022 for the second time in two years, but is hoping for a different fortune this time around.

After successive administrations, the M&Co brand was purchased by Yours Clothing from administrators Teneo.

Thereafter, all 170 High Street M&Co stores were closed before the end of April.

However, in May it was announced that the company was planning to launch an all-new M&Co website.

This new site, it has now been announced, will go live on June 21, starting with the sale of women’s clothing.

Plans are also in the works for an M&Co app, but no plans have been released yet.

However, if shoppers plan a nostalgic visit to the aisles, they’ll be disappointed – as there’s no plan to bring back the High Street presence.
