Ex-wife of real-life Wolf of Wall Street Jordan Belfort recalls the harrowing moment he ‘threw her down the stairs’ before trying to KIDNAP their daughter – revealing he then CRASHED the car with their child inside

The ex-wife of the real Wolf of Wall Street has revealed another jaw-dropping story about ex-husband Jordan Belfort.

Nadine Macaluso, who was married to Belfort from 1991 to 2005, recalls the time the former stockbroker crashed his car after taking too many drugs – with their young daughter in the car.

Appears on the Juicy Scoop podcast, the 55-year-old – who shares two children with her ex – explained that it had gotten to the point where her own physical health was suffering in the toxic relationship.

'We went to a drug counselor [and] He [Jordan] didn't come back the next day.' Macaluso, who is now a licensed family therapist, told host Heather McDonald.

Nadine Macaluso, who was married to Jordan Belfort from 1991 to 2005, has revealed another breathtaking story about her ex-husband

The two married in 1991 and welcomed two children together, before eventually divorcing in 2005 after 14 years of marriage.

'The drug counselor looked at me and said, 'MeIf you don't leave this man, you will get cancer,” she recalled.

Macaluso said the drug counselor's words gave her something “understanding.”

“She said, 'This is way too toxic,'” she remembers. “So I told him, you gotta sober up.

“I said, 'I'm not going to sit here and watch you kill yourself,'” she said.

According to Macaluso, that was the moment the Wolf of Wall Street went “crazy.”

'[He] threw my clothes, jewelry, set them on fire and put them in the fireplace,” she recalled.

The mother of two said she made the decision to leave their home that evening, knowing her children were safe because the housekeeper was there.

“Then I came back, and that's when he said to me, 'I'm taking our daughter to Florida, I've chartered a private plane,'” she said, adding that she knew he was “wasted.”

Macaluso recalled that she realized she was in a dangerous situation and told Belfort to sober up, which enraged him.

Macaluso, 55, met Jordan Belfort, 61, when she was just 22 years old and working as a model

Their relationship was portrayed in the 2013 film Wolf of Wall Street, starring Leonardo DiCaprio as Jordan and Margot Robbie as Nadine, who was renamed Naomi for the film.

“I'm like, over my dead body, you do that,” she said angrily. “And I went after him.”

Macaluso said her own mother “fortunately” told her to call the police before coming home because she was returning to a domestic violence situation.

“I chased him and he kicked me down the stairs,” she recalled. “Luckily I was in really good shape at 31, and I called the police, and they came.”

Macaluso continued: 'I was able to stop him because I told my housekeeper to close the garage door, [so] we were able to stop him.'

Although the closed garage door did prevent Belfort from driving away with their daughter, he did crash into the garage door.

Macaluso, who now works as a marriage counselor and family therapist in California, met Jordan Belfort, 61, when she was just 22 years old and working as a model.

The couple's relationship was famously portrayed in the 2013 film Wolf of Wall Street, starring Leonardo DiCaprio as Jordan and Margot Robbie as Nadine, who was renamed Naomi for the film.

In real life, after Macaluso and Belfort went their separate ways, the marriage counselor and family therapist accused the real estate agent of physical and mental abuse, which she said was fueled by his rampant drug addiction and multiple infidelities.

The model-therapist recently became a viral TikTok star for spilling countless secrets about their marriage — revealing which scenes from the Martin Scorsese film were accurate and which were exaggerated for the sake of views.

Belfort spent 22 months in prison after it was revealed that he had defrauded more than 1,500 people through a stockbroking scheme in 1999.
