Ex-The View host Meghan McCain slams her former colleagues over ‘mean’ interview

Meghan McCain has once again targeted her former colleagues on The View, this time labeling them as “vultures” during a 2019 interview.

McCain, 40, who was a regular cohost on the popular daytime show from 2017 to 2021, was interviewing Tulsi Gabbard at an event in Pennsylvania last weekend when the conversation quickly turned to The View.

After arriving on stage, politician Gabbard, 43, told McCain, “Can I just say that the last time we were on stage together was when you were on The View,” prompting the blonde star to reminisce recalled her time alongside Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar.

McCain, who recently threatened Kamala Harris, told the crowd, “You want some juicy gossip since it’s just us here? They were so scared of her, and Tulsi and I were just starting to become friends and I remember thinking, “I really have to defend this woman here because they’re going to be so mean to her.”

“And then it was like… you can look it up, they looked like vultures!” she recalled, before adding, “And we really bonded after that, but you scrutinized Joy so hard that her husband took a picture of me and I literally think [screaming] then.’

Gabbard then said, “In the commercial break right afterward, Meghan was literally running up and down jumping with… joy,” before describing her as a “happy warrior.”

During her heated appearance on The View five years ago, Gabbard continually clashed with Behar, at one point calling out the redhead for previously calling her “a useful idiot.”

This is certainly not the first time McCain has targeted her former colleagues.

In December 2023, the daughter of the late Senator John McCain publicly lamented the fact that her name was still constantly brought up by her former colleagues – almost two years after she quit due to an on-air clash with Behar.

Last year McCain went to X to threaten legal action after some of the famously outspoken women made a comparison between her and Hunter Biden.

One segment on The View in particular featured fellow Republican Ana Navarro — who called McCain “a nepo baby” in October 2023 — insinuating that the Arizona scion was profiting from her family name.

Appears on Michael Malice’s podcast WelcomeMcCain disputed those claims and blasted the six current cohosts for allegedly harassing her — while she’s trying to “live.” [her] life’ and raising her two daughters.

“I can’t go a week without something being said about me on the show,” McCain told Malice during their conversation.

“The thing about The View is that when I signed my contract with ABC, I didn’t know that this is forever, that I’m going to be bullied, yelled at, abused, and groomed for years to come for the rest of my life. she continued.

The pundit at the time expressed her complete disapproval of Navarro, Behar, Goldberg, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines and Alyssa Farah Griffin, calling them both rude and out of touch.

“I just didn’t know that when I signed on for this show, I would have to deal with these crazy old people yelling about me all the time,” she snapped.

“I haven’t been on that show in years, and as you know, I’m just trying to live my life [and] hosting my own new podcast.

“I have another project coming out in January,” she added.

“And I just didn’t know I was going to have to deal with that when I signed up for this show [this].’
