Ex-Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier files for divorce months after his wife Michelle painted him as a ‘liar and a cheater’ while accusing him of having an affair with an Ohio sports reporter

Former NFL linebacker Ryan Shazier has officially filed for divorce from his wife Michelle, less than two months after she publicly accused him of cheating, according to TMZ.

TMZ’s initial report was based on court documents filed Wednesday.

The couple have two sons together and had been married since 2019, just two years after Ryan suffered a spinal contusion that ended his football career.

In November, Michelle painted Ryan as a “liar and cheat” after claiming he had an affair with a woman who worked as a sports reporter and lawyer in Ohio.

She also went scorched earth by exposing the affair on social media by posting numerous text messages between Ryan and the woman.

Shazier’s wife Michielle had publicly accused him of an affair at the end of November

Shazier was a star Steelers middle linebacker before suffering a career-ending injury in 2017

‘A person who loves his family… this is what they do with their family… the WOMAN… who has been there for him since day 1! Infidelity at its finest!’ Michelle captioned her now-deleted post.

“I can’t sit here and hide any longer,” she continued. ‘You can have it. I deserve better. This is Ryan…he’s a liar and a cheater!’

One of the screenshots of the text messages also showed Ryan sending links to books titled ‘The Ultimate Guide To Anal Sex For Women’ and ‘Blow By Blow: A Step-by-Step Guide On How To Give Blow Jobs So Explosive That He Will Be Willing To Do Anything For You.”

After the first incident, Ryan said TMZ : ‘Michelle and I have lived apart and are currently divorced.

“As we consider the future for our family, I ask for privacy and prayers.”
