A former Nickelodeon child star has joined Playboy after years of “feeling oppressed in terms of sexuality and showing off her body” because the network told her she had to be “constantly” presented as a little girl.
Madisyn Shipman, 20, rose to fame after playing the role of Kenzie Bell on the Nickelodeon show Game Shakers from 2015 to 2019.
Now she has taken up a new profession: creating adult content. Something she says has helped her ‘reclaim her power’ after she suffered from an ‘identity crisis’ following her time on the hit children’s series.
She labeled her challenging new gig as “so worth it” during a recent chat with Fox News, explaining that it has given her “so much financial freedom” and introduced her to countless “like-minded people.”

She described her challenging new gig as “so rewarding” during a recent chat with Fox News, explaining that it has given her “so much financial freedom.”
“I’m going to be completely honest with you, I’ve always felt a sense of repression when it comes to my sexuality and showing my body,” she admitted.
“I’m going to be completely honest with you, I’ve always felt a sense of repression when it comes to my sexuality and showing my body,” she admitted. “And I think a lot of that is because I grew up on a Nickelodeon show.”
“And I think a lot of that is because I grew up on a Nickelodeon show. You’re taught that you can’t wear crop tops…you can’t show too much skin.
‘You have to be presented as a little girl all the time. And every time that’s over… I had a bit of an identity crisis because I didn’t know who I was.”
The actress has a profile on Playboy’s new creator platform, which launched in May and is similar to OnlyFans, where people can pay creators for exclusive access to photos and videos.
Madisyn emphasized that while posing for the raunchy publication is empowering, she does have a few ground rules when it comes to the photos she will share.
She said she likes to strip down to her lingerie or bikini, but won’t share anything completely nude.
“I always said, especially to my fans, that I would never join a paid creator platform because I didn’t want to show my body (fully),” she continued.
‘That was the most important thing. That’s not how my goals align. So I made this clear to Playboy and they said, “You don’t have to do that.”

The 20-year-old told the outlet that posing for Playboy has made her a lot of money. She said it funded her music career and even helped her buy a house
‘That’s the great thing about Playboy. If you want to show everything, you are more than welcome, but it is not necessary.
‘I regain my power. I regain my sexuality. I do what makes me happy.
‘I have no problem posing in a bikini or lingerie set. It’s just me. I find it so powerful to be able to pose like this and feel good about myself.
“I love my body, so it’s so rewarding to be able to do this in such a respected field and get so much love and support from it.”

She said it funded her budding music career and even helped her buy her own house.
“It just shows you that you don’t have to show your body to make money and for this to be lucrative for you,” she said.
‘I can now fully finance my music career myself, which is great. I have my own house. I am completely taken care of.
“I have so much financial freedom and without Playboy I really wouldn’t be in this position.”

Madisyn revealed that many of her customers are people who “grew up watching her on TV.” She is seen second from the right next to some other Playboy stars
As for what her former Game Shakers castmates think, she said they fully support her new career move. She was seen second from the left with her castmates in 2016
She concluded: “They fully support me. They know that what I do makes me happy. And if other people don’t agree with it, then so be it.’ She was seen on the left in 2015 and recently on the right
And while most are “just reaching out to her,” she has received some “strange” requests.
“I mean, it’s no shame for anyone involved, but I’ve never been exposed to the fetish world (before) so that was a shock to my system,” she said.
“There have been some strange requests in terms of fetishes and things like that. But I don’t entertain people I’m not comfortable with just because there’s no point in stepping away from who I am as a person.”

She also revealed that it was actually a fellow Nickelodeon actress turned Playboy star — whose identity she did not reveal — who suggested she join in the first place.
‘I always pushed the boundaries back then. I always got in trouble for posing in a crop top or wearing a bikini that showed a little too much… So I think (my former co-stars) expected it,” she said.
‘They fully support me. They know that what I do makes me happy. And if other people don’t agree, then so be it.
“I don’t need the negativity or drama in my life. I’m so focused on having a positive outlook.”
