Not many people can say they saw it coming… but Ed Orgeron has surprisingly become the latest figure in the sport to become an overnight social media sensation after the ex-LSU football coach chatted with bikini-clad women on a beach earlier this week.
In footage shared on TikTok on Thursday, 61-year-old Orgeron can be seen approaching two beachgoers as he appears to be holding the hand of a woman believed to be his fiancé.
“Being hounded by Coach O,” the video’s caption read.
In May, Orgeron announced on Twitter that he was engaged to his girlfriend, Brandy Nicole. The college football coach filed for divorce from his previous wife, Kelly, in April 2020. The two were married for 23 years.
But that doesn’t seem to matter much to fans on TikTok, who praised Orgeron’s “rizz” or “game” with the ladies in the comments section of the video.

“Man is leather, legend!” a user wrote.
“Always recruiting,” another TikTok viewer commented.
“Coach O lays the groundwork,” another fan commented.
Orgeron made a name for himself as head coach of the LSU Tigers from 2016 to 2021, especially after the team started 15-0 during the 2019 season.
It eventually led to the Tigers winning a national championship in January 2020 under then-quarterback Joe Burrow – defeating the Clemson Tigers, led at the time by then-quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
Two seasons later, Orgeron was out the door at LSU.
Brian Kelly was named his successor in November 2021 after leading Notre Dame back to the College Football Playoff in 2018 and 2020.

Last season, the Tigers had a 10-4 record.
In recent times, however, Orgeron’s name has been associated with the head coaching vacancy at Northwestern following the firing of Pat Fitzgerald.
Several sources reported that Orgeron would be ‘interested’ in the job, but the claims were subsequently dismissed by The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman.
Spoke to Ed Orgeron. There is no truth to the report that he has any interest in the Northwestern coaching job, nor has he heard from anyone at Northwestern,” Feldman said in a tweet last week.
Fitzgerald was fired earlier this month after allegations of promoting “a culture of enabling racism” and details of hazing allegations.
