Ex-ESPN star blasts ‘feminists and liberals’ over claims Kylie Kelce has dethroned Joe Rogan in podcast charts

Charly Arnolt has slammed the left-wing media for crowning Kylie Kelce the new podcast queen following the success of the first episode of her new series,

Kelce’s debut ‘Not Gonna Lie’ episode topped the Joe Rogan Experience in its first week – with multiple reports stating that Jason Kelce’s wife had ‘dethroned’ the famed podcaster, who is paid around $250 million by Spotify for his show.

And it’s those messages that caught Arnolt’s attention, prompting a brutal response Thursday during her latest OutKick show.

She congratulated Kelce — the sister-in-law of Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce — on her success, but mocked those who gave her the honor over Rogan after just one show.

‘I know the hype among the Swifties is at an all-time high. Why? Since Kylie Kelce’s debut episode of a podcast has dropped… and great news for her, I’m so happy for her – having a new podcast is a huge achievement,” Arnolt, 37, who left ESPN in 2023 for OutKick, said .

She continued, “But there’s a very overzealous kind of reaction that’s taking over the internet. And I would say it’s just going a little bit overboard.

Kylie Kelce’s huge first week of her ‘Not Gonna Lie’ podcast even surpassed Joe Rogan

Kelce has a huge Eagles following and her Taylor Swift connection also helps with her listener count

“Look, Exhibit A, this is what people are saying after Kylie’s podcast got such great numbers on its debut episode. People say that because it’s #1 on Spotify, above The Joe Rogan Experience, she’s now “dethroned” Rogan in the podcast world.

“Now listen, yes – her debut episode had great numbers. And it reportedly beat Joe Rogan’s most recent episode. But this is just his most recent episode. It also beat out Crime Junkie, which I happen to be a big fan of, and the New York Time “The Daily,” which is consistently in the top three podcasts.

“Why are the headlines – when you cover Crime Junkie and the New York Times – all about dethroning Joe Rogan? Because we know the left hates Joe Rogan. This is easy to solve.

“First of all, let’s be very clear: it’s only one episode. And this isn’t a knock on Kylie, she seems great and seems like a great woman, a great mother. And her podcast will get good marks because it is authentic.

“Plus, it will be successful because she has a large number of Swifties and Eagles supporters. That can’t hurt, right?

“But all that aside, is she on the level of Joe Rogan, who has been podcasting brilliantly for years and years? Come on. No chance. Will her guests compare themselves to newly elected President Donald Trump? Or Elon Musk? No way.

“The feminists and liberals on the left are having a great day because she outdid him this week. They’re trying to convince us that Joe Rogan is no longer relevant because Kylie Kelce is entering the podcast world.”

Rogan signed a new $250 million deal with Spotify earlier in 2024 and interviewed Donald Trump ahead of November’s presidential election.

Trump’s opponent, Kamala Harris, did not appear on the show, despite Rogan also wanting her to be a guest on his show, where episodes regularly last three hours.

The Kelce family has seen an explosion of interest in them over the past two years.

It started with ‘Kelce Bowl’ when Travis and Jason played against each other in February 2023, with the Chiefs beating the Eagles in Arizona.

But when Travis and Taylor Swift went public with their relationship in September 2023, the Swiftie fanbase sparked a huge interest in the family, which for the most part, they have embraced.

And while Kylie enjoys her own podcast success, she can turn to Travis and Jason for advice. Their own New Heights show is producing a new $100 million deal signed before the start of the current NFL season.
