Ewan McGregor flaunts a thick mustache and curly hair as he arrives on the set of A Gentleman In Moscow
Ewan McGregor looked very different from his usual clean-cut self when pictured on the set of A Gentleman In Moscow in Halifax on Wednesday.
The acclaimed actor, 52, sported a thick, neat mustache and thick curly mane as she arrived with a hot drink in hand.
The TV series A Gentleman In Moscow tells the story of a Russian aristocrat who is spared from death and placed under house arrest as the Bolshevik Revolution unfolds before him.
Ewan plays Alexander Rostov in the program alongside his real-life wife Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who will take on the role of Anna Urbanova.
The Moulin Rouge! actor has a 23-month-old son, Laurie, with second wife Mary, whom he tied the knot with in April 2022.

The couple had not revealed they were expecting and their surprise baby news was first shared by Ewan’s daughter Clara in June 2021.
She wrote: “Welcome to the world, little brother, congratulations to my father and Mary – this is the greatest gift.”
His daughter Esther also shared photos of her rocking the newborn while gushing: “I met my little brother who looked like a pirate. I recommend! Welcome to little Laurie’s family.’
Ewan was previously married to actress Eve, who met on the set of the TV crime drama Kavanagh QC.
Sadly, they separated in 2017 after 22 years of marriage and their divorce was finalized in August 2020, blaming them on “irreconcilable differences.”
They are parents to daughters Clara, 27, and Esther, 21 and Anouk, 12, Ewan adopted daughter Jamyan, 21, with production designer Eve in 2006
Ewan and his eldest daughter Clara have had a rocky relationship, ever since she labeled his second wife Mary a “piece of dirt” and called him an “asshole.”
But the father and daughter have restored their relationship over the past five years and recently completed their first joint project.

You Sing Loud, I Sing Louder is a film conceived by Clara, in which Ewan explains his daughter’s pitch to him: ‘She tells me she came up with an idea to write about us.
‘I was a bit nervous at first. I didn’t know what that meant.’
The film focuses on a father-daughter road trip, with Ewan’s character driving his daughter, played by Clara, to rehab.
While the drive is fictional, the premise of a father trying to help his daughter is based on Clara’s own experience.
“I sat down to read it and I was blown away. It was a nice story about us. There are things that are not right, or warped, but they still reflect our alienation for a while,” he explained.
“The ride is fictional. But for a few years we sort of lost her. So the storyline is about her realization that she needs the help her father is trying to give.
“Gradually their relationship gets better.”
