Ewan McGregor made a rare public appearance with his 12-year-old daughter Anouk to watch Manchester City play Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

The 52-year-old actor showed his support for Manchester City by donning a blue scarf and cheering on the team as they cruised to an impressive 4-1 win.

She cut a graceful figure in beige pants and a black T-shirt, which she paired with a black zip-up jacket and brown lace-up boots.

Ewan added a pop of color to his look with the team’s pale blue scarf and tucked his dark locks under a checkered flat cap.

He opted for a different look to his normally bushy beard, sporting a very full mustache instead, while the rest of his face was clean-shaven.

The Trainspotting star showed every inch of the doting dad as he brought his 12-year-old daughter Anouk to the highly anticipated game.

Anouk, whom he adopted with his ex-wife Eve Mavrakis in 2011, wore cream trousers, a white T-shirt, a black jacket and a Manchester City scarf.

Manchester City beat Liverpool 4-1 in the tense game, with Julián Álvarez, Kevin De Bruyne, İlkay Gündoğan and Jack Grealish scoring the biggest goals.

In addition to Anouk, Ewan adopted Jamyan, 21, with production designer Eve in 2006, while the couple also share daughters Clara, 27, and Esther, 21.

Ewan and Eve, who met on the set of the television crime drama Kavanagh QC, separated in 2017 after 22 years of marriage, finalizing their divorce in August 2020.

Ewan, who blamed “irreconcilable differences” for the split, later began dating Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

The couple had not revealed that they were expecting and Ewan’s daughter Clara first shared the surprise news of her baby in June 2021.

Her daughter Esther also shared photos cradling the newborn while saying: “I met my little brother who looked like a pirate.” I recommend! Welcome to the family, little Laurie.

It’s not the first time Ewan has been seen with one of his children in recent weeks, having dated his daughter Clara earlier this month.

The couple recently attended the premiere of their new movie You Sing Loud, I Sing Louder at the SXSW Conference in Austin, Texas together.

Ewan and his eldest daughter, Clara, have had a rocky relationship, as she branded his second wife, Mary, a “piece of trash” and called him an “asshole.”

But the father and daughter mended their relationship over the past five years and recently finished working on their first joint project.

You Sing Loud, I Sing Louder is a film conceived by Clara, with Ewan explaining his daughter’s tone: “She tells me she had an idea about writing about us.

‘At first I was a bit nervous. He didn’t know what that meant.

The film centers on a father-daughter road trip, with Ewan’s character driving his daughter, played by Clara, to rehab.

While the impulse is fictional, the premise of a father trying to help his daughter is based on Clara’s own experience.

“I sat down to read it and was blown away.

It was a beautiful story about us. There are things that are not accurate or crooked, but still reflect our distance for a while, ”she explained.

The disc is fictitious. But for a couple of years, we lost her. So the story is about her realizing that she needs the help that her father is trying to provide.

“Along the way, their relationship heals a bit.”
