Evil parents who hated their three-year-old daughter, tortured her for days and left her to suffocate on her vomit while gagged and locked up alone in a cellar are jailed for life

Parents who tortured their defenseless three-year-old before leaving her to choke on her own vomit while tied up in a basement have been jailed for life.
Sascha and Maja Wensing, both 40, were sentenced to life in prison after the body of their daughter Lea was found in Germany’s Rhine-Herne canal, near their apartment in Dinslaken.
Her horrific ordeal took place last October when the parents decided to lock Lea in the basement of their apartment building.
They then began a regime of torture that lasted six days.
Shocking messages between the couple revealed during court proceedings showed how the Wensings hated their daughter and plotted to kill her.

“That stupid b**** is taking up our time. She makes me angry, she ruined everything. I can’t stand her anymore,” read a message from Maja.
The father replied, “I took her in again, the doll has straps on her legs and can’t move. She’s a huge hole.’
They then went on to describe in detail how they taped their daughter’s mouth shut, knowing she would likely suffer an excruciatingly slow and painful death as she began choking on her own vomit.
“Glue her mouth shut and get out,” the mother begged.
Sascha then replied: ‘We have choking symptoms… I’m looking forward to tomorrow.’
After reading out a series of deplorable messages between the evil parents, prosecutor Jill McCuller told the court: ‘The defendants hated their daughter and treated her inhumanely.
‘The victim suffered from an uncontrollable fear of death several times (during her ordeal). Her death was very traumatic; she was found with vomit in all her alveoli.”

When little Leah finally suffocated, her father threw her body into the canal.
He then went to the police himself, but reported the death as an accident, according to the German press.
Oberhausen emergency services were forced to send a diving team to recover Lea’s body, after which a post-mortem examination revealed clear signs of torture and abuse – as well as vomit clogging her lungs.
When pronouncing the sentence in the Duisburg Regional Court, the judge did not hesitate to condemn the bad parents.
‘This act was particularly terrible and therefore only the maximum sentence was considered.’
The perpetrators will now each spend at least 25 years behind bars.
