Everything new on Prime Video in October 2024

Every month when the top streaming services announce their new titles, Prime Video comes along and dominates with its tsunami of new movies – and the October 2024 list is no exception.

October is one of those months when it’s socially acceptable to stay in your own home and do nothing but watch movies, especially those hard-hitting dramas, thrillers and horrors that are perfect for the run-up to Halloween. When I looked over this month’s Prime Video schedule, my eyes immediately went to The silence of the lambs (1991) – a personal favorite of mine – alongside the 80s classics The Breakfast Club (1985) and Furious bull (1980), all of which have an equal chance of ending up in our best Prime Video film list
