It seems like just yesterday that we were welcoming a new long list of potentially the best Hulu shows and movies, and saying goodbye to others. Now that August is almost here, Hulu is gearing up to do it all again—but it’s not cutting as many as you might think.
Much like July’s list of what’s going away, TV shows remain untouched, much to the disappointment of film fans. Still, a total of just 16 films are being removed from the platform this month, making it one of the shortest lists we’ve ever seen.
Compared to the top streaming services, which tend to remove titles at roughly the same rate as they add new ones, Hulu’s August slate is short and sweet. Fortunately, none of the films leaving the platform made our best Hulu movies list , so you can still check out our top picks for at least another month.
