American pop star Ariana Grande was mobbed by enthusiastic fans as she landed in Sydney on Saturday.

The Side To Side hitmaker, 31, was in the country to attend the premiere of the highly anticipated film adaptation of Wicked at the Sydney State Theater alongside her current boyfriend Ethan Slater and co-star Cynthia Erivo.

But when photos of Ariana’s arrival flooded Instagram, fans couldn’t help but comment on her resemblance to Ethan, 32.

Upon arrival at Sydney airport, the diminutive pop star was mobbed by a crowd of adoring Aussie fans.

The Thank U, Next singer seemed at ease with the crowd and was happy to stop to sign autographs and pose for selfies.

Ariana previously dated rapper Mac Miller from 2016 to 2018, who tragically passed away due to an accidental overdose.
