Everybody Loves Raymond star Patricia Heaton unleashes on anti-Trump ‘extremists’ for fear-mongering
Everybody Loves Raymond star Patricia Heaton lashed out at anti-Trump “extremists” for “sowing fear” and denigrating voters who support the president-elect.

“To all these extremists who get TV time, who told women this is what’s going to happen to them: shame on you! Shame on you!’ she said in the video, which had been viewed more than 842,000 times as of Tuesday.
“Apparently there are some very vulnerable people here that you targeted and terrified… and you need to get back on the air and tell them everything is going to be okay, tell them they’re going to be okay.
“And also stop saying that people who voted differently than you are uneducated.”

She implored the media to “learn your lesson about vilifying people who think differently than you, who have different needs than you, who have legitimate complaints.”
“Stop dismissing them as uneducated. When are you going to learn?’
Heaton then went on to condemn women who have posted videos sharing their fears about a possible loss of reproductive rights, while some vow to break off sexual relations with men in protest of Trump’s victory.
“I’ve also seen a lot of reaction videos — mostly of women crying, screaming, shaving their heads and saying they’re going to be put in jail or arrested or killed or hunted or whatever,” she said.
‘We need to pray for them and I want to say to anyone who feels this way: don’t make politics or identity groups your religion! Only Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. Put your trust in Him, not in men, not in human institutions, not in human institutions.”
Heaton also noted that she had recently visited Israeli kibbutzim where women and babies were taken during the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023.
“You’re fine, you’re going to be fine, don’t worry,” she told all the women who follow her on the social media app.
Heaton played the role of Debra Barone in 210 episodes of Everybody Loves Raymond
She assured all female followers that “you’re doing fine,” as women post videos expressing their fears about a possible loss of reproductive rights under newly-elected President Trump.
Heaton has been vocal about her beliefs in recent years and came under fire in 2016 for sharing her anti-abortion views on social media.
The Emmy-winning actress wrote, “Choose, celebrate, support life! Thank you Northwest Center!” to support a Washington-based pregnancy center and maternity home.
Some social media users were quick to slam the actress for her beliefs.
Earlier this year, she also came to the defense of Kanas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker in the wake of a controversial graduation speech he gave earlier this month.
“I don’t understand why everyone’s panties are in a mess,” Heaton said in the online clip. “He gave an opening speech, the audience applauded twice during the speech and gave him a standing ovation at the end.”
The Cleveland native, who appeared in the clip wearing a ball cap and workout machine zip-up sweater, noted that the crowd at the start “loved what he said.”
Heaton said Butker was entirely appropriate in “embracing his own opinions and Catholic doctrine” in the public speech.
‘And then? It’s his opinion: he can have one,” Heaton said. ‘He’s not a monster because he says what he believes.
“He went after bishops much more than he went after women, or what women’s choices are, or what he thinks they should be – so I don’t understand it.”
