- Everton are interested in signing Jaden Philogene from Hull City this summer
- Philogene scored 12 goals in 32 Championship games for Hull City last season
- West Ham are also interested in the winger, who has played for England at U21 level
Everton are considering a possible £16million move for Hull City winger Jaden Philogene.
The 22-year-old had a standout season in the Championship last season, attracting the attention of the likes of Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur.
The England U21 international scored 12 goals, many of them spectacular, and has also prompted West Ham to consider making a bid as they look to strengthen their attacking line this summer.
However, Everton have joined the chase and are willing to offer around £16 million for a player who cost Hull around £5 million last summer when they signed him from Aston Villa, who are believed to have a sell and buy option.
Philogene grew up in Villa’s youth academy, where his early talent attracted interest from Paris St Germain, Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona, who added him to their watchlist.

Hull had hoped to gain promotion last season after coming close to qualifying for the play-offs with their attacking side, but now face the prospect of losing some of their key players.
Everton and West Ham were also among the clubs to make enquiries over Hull centre-back Jacob Greaves, along with Ipswich Town. However, the Hammers are targeting the centre-back straight away in a bid to lure Max Kilman away from Wolves
