Eva and Ryan walked down the aisle and have since welcomed two daughters into the world together: Esmeralda, eight, and Amada, six.

When the youngest was a baby, Eva told him People that she was raising her daughters to speak Spanish as well as English.

‘Esmeralda speaks mainly Spanglish at the moment. She is very cute. She is definitely bilingual, and it is very important for us to make sure that she is not only familiar with the language, but also with the culture,” said Eva.

‘My mom, who lives 15 minutes away, makes it easy because she speaks to the girls in Spanish and cooks Cuban food for them. And we are always listening to Cuban music. It really is a big part of our way of life. She wouldn’t have it any other way,” she said.

‘My dad, who has been here for 45 years and still doesn’t speak English, is a real asset. It’s great because now that I’m trying to make sure my daughters speak Spanish, it’s like, ‘Ok, dad, take them,’ because I know all they’re going to speak to him is Spanish,’ the Hitch added the star.

Meanwhile, Ryan has made his fanbase nervous by being cast as Ken in an upcoming Barbie movie starring Margot Robbie.

Social media went wild when Ryan appeared in a first look image as Ken, showing off his chiseled torso in an open jean vest.

His jeans were slid down to reveal an underwear waistband with ‘KEN’ written on it, in a parody of Calvin Klein underwear.

Evocative: He gave his nearly four million followers some glimpses of the stunning views he took, including the sunset over the ocean and a pond in the woods.

‘Esmeralda speaks mostly Spanglish’: When her youngest daughter was a baby, Eva told People she was raising her daughters to speak both Spanish and English.

Sumptuous: It also showed a stunning image of a purple sunset seen over both the ocean and the pool that Eva enjoyed during her last vacation.

Eva called the look “hysterical” on E! night popwhile confessing that the ‘little 14-year-old in me’ was privately swooning.

In fact, I have that underwear, Ken’s underwear. I asked for it,’ he blurted out. “I just said, ‘Just bring home Ken’s underwear. That’s all I want.'”

Seeing her husband as Ken was “my teenage dream for sure.” It’s really funny because it’s like she’s playing a character. She’s not playing a real person, she’s playing a doll.

He was roundly mocked on social media for the first-look image, with one person marveling: “How did they make Ryan Gosling unattractive?”

A chorus of social media users applied the word ‘scary’ to the look, with other adjectives including ‘horrendous’.

However, Eva jumped to her defense in The conversation, saying, ‘People know they’re not playing a real person, right? You are playing a fake person.

She also talked about ordering Ken’s underwear, shamelessly spilling on the daytime chat show, “I’m wearing it right now.”

Greta Gerwig is directing the next Barbie movie, having co-written the script with her husband, acclaimed filmmaker Noah Baumbach.
