Eurovision fans were outraged during Saturday night’s highly anticipated final when commentator Mel Giedroyc spoke of Hannah Waddingham speaking French.

However, her actions infuriated viewers in the UK, furious that they wanted to listen to Hannah’s francophone skills and saying they would ‘never forgive’ her blunder.

It is not the first time that Hannah caused a stir and impressed viewers with her French language skills as she previously showed off her talent during the semifinals.
The actress stunned viewers around the world when she spoke in fluent French at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool to recite the rules of the competition.
Her co-hosts Alesha Dixon, 44, and Ukrainian singer Julia Sanina, 32, had read from the teleprompter in English.
Impressed by Hannah’s abilities, viewers at home took to Twitter to praise her.
