Europe’s hottest countries revealed… and Britain comes FOURTH
- A survey of more than 22,000 people found Italy to be the hottest European country
- And Britain came fourth, when Gen Z was revealed to actually be having sex
The hottest countries in Europe have now been revealed as Britain comes in fourth place.
And people in Italy are most likely to want a pizza as an action.
Sex toy brand LoveHoney surveyed more than 22,000 people from 15 different countries – including the UK, Spain and France – about their sexual desires.
Participants were asked to self-report their sex drive out of 10.
Italy topped the European list, with respondents rating their libido at 6.93 on average.
LoveHoney’s ‘LibidOlympics’ also revealed that despite claims Gen Z don’t have sex, they are actually Britain’s horniest age group.

Of those who participated in Europe, Spain ranked second, with an average sex drive of 6.91 out of 10.
Rounding out the participating European countries were France (6.24), the UK (6.22), Germany (6.09), Switzerland (5.87) and Austria (5.56).
The orgasm gap between men and women is well known.
But the results showed that men also have a higher sex drive – at least that’s what they say.
However, LoveHoney sex and relationship expert Annabelle Knight argued that societal norms could prevent women from being honest about how horny they are.
She said: “It is likely that men are more willing to say they have a greater sex drive and vice versa for women, as outdated views of female (and male) sexuality still persist, both internally and externally.”
The data showed that while men worldwide confessed to having a sex drive of 6.53, it was 12 percent lower on average for women – who scored just 5.76.
Globally, the results also showed that the 25 to 34 year old cohort, who are mostly millennials, are the most sexually active group, while they indicated that Gen Z abstained more.
But in Britain, the LibidOlympics revealed that young people actually have the most sex – with an appetite of 6.96.
This decreased as age increased, with Britons over the age of 65 having a sex drive of 5.16.

However, Ms Knight added: ‘Sex drive varies enormously from person to person, and there’s nothing to be ashamed of if yours is particularly below or above average.
“The most important thing is that you can communicate this openly with any romantic partner, and if you have the same high sex drive, get out the sex toys and have some fun.”
It comes after a Durex survey last month, of 2,000 people, revealed that men had as many as four times as many orgasms as women.
Only five percent of women said they always have an orgasm during a sexual encounter, compared to 20 percent of men.
A fifth of the sexually active women said they felt frustrated or disappointed by this, but 11 percent said they got used to it.
