One of Europe’s biggest clubs has reportedly made a member of Spain’s European Championship-winning squad a top target.
Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams was one of the stars of the tournament in Germany last summer, scoring in the 2-1 final victory over England.
He was strongly linked with a move to Barcelona after Spain’s victory, with Premier League clubs Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea also in trouble.
Athletic managed to keep hold of their star winger, but interest in the player continues to grow.
And German outlet Bild reports that Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have now entered the race.
They claim that Bayern will make a serious move for the 22-year-old during the summer transfer window.

Williams is believed to have a release clause worth just £47m (€55m).
Williams finished last season with eight goals and 16 assists in 32 appearances, helping Athletic Bilbao to a fifth-place finish and, importantly, their first Copa del Rey in 40 years.
He has not quite carried his European Championship form this season, with two goals and five assists in 23 appearances in all competitions.
His team is fourth in LaLiga, just five points behind leaders Atletico Madrid.
