Eugenie Bouchard ‘splits from longtime boyfriend Jack Brinkley-Cook’ after two years

Eugenie Bouchard is reportedly heading into the summer single after splitting from her boyfriend.

The 30-year-old former Wimbledon finalist had been dating Jack Brinkley-Cook, the son of supermodel Christie Brinkley, for about two years.

However, according to a report by TMZ, the couple reportedly called it quits in April. It is not known why they decided to split.

Bouchard and Brinkley-Cook, 29, are said to have started dating in 2022. Rumors of a summer romance first surfaced after they were spotted on the beach shortly after her split from NFL quarterback Mason Rudolph.

They went Instagram official in September 2023, with Brinkley-Cook’s famous mom even giving her approval earlier this year.

Bouchard went on vacation with her ex-boyfriend’s family to ring in the new year. Brinkley shared amorous photos of the couple on her own profile in January.

Bouchard and Brinkley-Cook even jumped on the 2023 Halloween trend by tying the knot as power couple Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.

Brinkley-Cook is the son of Brinkley and her ex-husband, real estate developer Richard Taubman, who welcomed him in 1994 but separated shortly after.

In 1996, Brinkley married architect Peter Cook, and the latter adopted Brinkley before the couple had their daughter, Sailor, in 1998. Brinkley also has a daughter, Alexa Ray Joel, with her ex-husband Billy Joel.

Brinkley-Cook keeps his personal life relatively private and, unlike his mother and sisters, has not entered the entertainment industry. He previously dated Logan Paul’s fiancée Nina Agdal from 2019 to 2021.

While the reason behind their split is still unknown, the news comes a week after Bouchard spoke openly about her ‘sex appeal’ within the tennis world.

“Tennis is a great sport for sexual attraction first and foremost,” the Canadian said in an interview with YouTuber Valeria LipovetskyWe wear short skirts and tank tops.

“It’s fun to turn on the TV and watch that. I was able to close some great marketing deals off the court right away. I was asked to be in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition a couple of times.

Bouchard, who works as a commentator for The Tennis Channel, also appeared to be embracing her newfound singlehood and her sex appeal after she was spotted living it up in Las Vegas over the weekend.

Later on Sunday, she shared a series of photos of her “gardening” in the rain at home in Miami on Instagram, where she has 2.3 million followers.

But instead of donning clothes like most people would, the tennis and pickleball player opted for a green bikini — and nothing else.

A series of photos and videos show Bouchard raking leaves from her property, then cooling off in an outdoor shower.

Former tennis pro San Querry, who retired in 2022, imitated Bouchard on Instagram by posting a number of photos of himself doing “yardwork.”

Bouchard’s tennis career has been plagued by injuries since her debut in 2014. At the age of 20, she reached the Wimbledon final, but lost her Grand Slam title to Serena Williams.

In 2014, she reached her highest ranking on the WTA Tour, climbing to fifth place on the charts, following her epic performance at Wimbledon, where she lost in the women’s singles final to Petra Kvitova.

Her last match on the WTA circuit was in May 2024, at the ITF/USTA W75 in Florida.

Most recently, Bouchard has been working as a broadcaster for the Tennis Channel, but she opens up about how her modeling and work outside of tennis have helped her grow her fan base and increase interest in the sport.

The former world No. 5 has taken up pickleball in recent years, but in an interview with ESPN in January, she said her tennis career is not over yet.
