Estranged wife of AFL player Ricky Olarenshaw imprisoned in Bali made impassioned plea before her arrest

The estranged wife of former AFL premiership player Ricky Olarenshaw made a desperate plea before her recent arrest in Bali.

Sarnanitha Olarenshaw, who shares a daughter with the former Essendon Bombers premiership star, was arrested in a police raid on the Flame Spa massage parlor in Seminyak in September.

She was one of five people arrested at the massage parlor that police said was used for prostitution.

Sarnanitha, through her lawyer, Donny Tri Istiqomah, made a statement before she was detained, claiming her ex-husband and three other Australians own the living room.

Prior to her arrest, she sent a message to the Herald Sun saying, ‘Please help me… I’m afraid I’m going to get arrested today and lose my daughter.’

Sarnanitha claims the arrest arose following a dispute with her business partners.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Sarnanitha and Olarenshaw’s lawyer for further comment.

This publication does not suggest that Olarenshaw had any knowledge or involvement in the alleged activities.

The case is still under investigation, but prostitution and sex work are highly illegal in Bali and are considered a crime against ‘decency and morality’ on the island.

Mr Panjaitan told reporters that the next step in the investigation was to “promptly obtain legal certainty” as to whether illegal activities were taking place at the spa.

Flames Spa’s services range from $189 to $283 per session and the motto was: ‘Our service is more than just a sensual massage, it’s an erotic experience.’

“Our goal is to ignite your flame.”

Sarnanitha, who has 20,000 followers online, denied the allegations against her.

Flame Spa is run by Ni Ketut Sri Astari, Sarnanitha’s name, and hosted Mr Olarenshaw’s 50th ‘Playboy-themed’ birthday party last year.

High Commissioner of Police Jansen Avitus Panjaitan confirmed that three women had been arrested in the widespread raids (pictured), which also involved another spa.

Olarenshaw played 77 games for Essendon, starting in 1993, before spending two seasons at Collingwood, where he played just five games.

He then made one appearance for North Melbourne before announcing his retirement.

He has since moved to Bali where he runs three F45 gyms.

It comes as two Australians were arrested in a similar raid for running a spa allegedly offering prostitution.

Michael Le Grand, 50, and Lynley Le Grand, 44, both from Victoria, were arrested for their alleged involvement at the Pink Palace Spa.

If found guilty, they could face up to 12 years in prison.
