Estranged member of the Trump family plans to support BIDEN at the Atlanta debate
Mary Trump, Donald Trump’s niece, will be in the spin room in Atlanta on Thursday night to endorse President Joe Biden.
“In terms of character, few people can talk to Donald Trump’s people better than his family. Tonight, his niece Mary Trump will join Team Biden-Harris in the spin room,” the Biden campaign announced a few hours before the candidates took the stage.
She is the daughter of Fred Trump Jr., the former president’s older brother, and has become a fierce critic of Trump.
“I have witnessed firsthand my uncle’s narcissism and cruelty throughout my life. His sense of inferiority fueled his jealousy and pathological need to dominate others, and this is information of critical importance to the American people as we approach the most important election of our lifetime,” Mary Trump said in a statement released by the Biden campaign.

She has written two critical books about the Trump family and in 2018 provided financial information to the New York Times about the family finances.
Donald Trump later sued her and the newspaper, but a judge dismissed the lawsuit.
Mary Trump has turned her criticism of her uncle into a source of income in the form of books, paid appearances, a podcast and a regular newsletter.
In her statement, she described Donald Trump as “deeply unhinged” and “insecure.”
“If the worst happens and Donald returns to the White House, none of us who have ever criticized him will be safe, because revenge and retaliation are what he trades in.” I’m here tonight because only President Biden can stop Donald and save our country. ,’ she said.
During the 2016 campaign, Mary Trump endorsed Hillary Clinton.
The “turntable” of a debate is an opportunity for each candidate’s supporters to talk about their performance and discredit the rival.
Sometimes candidates bring along guests who have to mislead their opponents and boost their self-confidence for a debate.
For example, during the 2016 campaign, Trump brought four women to a debate who accused Bill Clinton of sexual harassment. With this he wanted to unsettle his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton.
Trump’s move came after a 2005 interview with Access Hollywood came to light in which he spoke inappropriately about women with host Billy Bush.

On Thursday evening, California Gov. Gavin Newsom will join Mary Trump in the spin room, as will other Democratic lawmakers and top campaign aides.
Trump’s campaign has not yet announced who will speak on behalf of the former president.
Joe Biden and Donald Trump each arrived separately in Atlanta on Thursday afternoon.
The debate starts at 9:00 PM (Eastern Time).
