John Legend and Chrissy Teigen celebrated a heartwarming milestone this week with their 7-month-old daughter Esti.
The A-list couple captured their newborn baby girl saying “Dada” for the first time.
The All Of Me crooner shared the video on his Instagram for his millions of followers, captioning the adorable moment with ‘DADA! Then I got too excited and scared her,” with a laughing emoji.
Esti, the second youngest of their four children, eventually said “Dada” after the 44-year-old songwriter and his model wife repeatedly asked, “What’s Daddy’s name?”
When Esti finally said “Dada,” A Crime On The Bayou’s executive producer exclaimed, “We’ve got it on tape, baby! Caught on tape!’

Esti was born on January 13, 2023, so her first ‘Dada’ was captured the day she turned seven months old.
The Minefields singer has revealed that E! News that it was a happy coincidence that the name Chrissy chose for their third child actually had a sweet connection to one of his relatives.
‘It wasn’t intentionally going after anyone… but once Chrissy told me that idea, I thought, “Oh, my great-grandmother’s name was Esther,” the Ohio-born musician revealed.
He added that Esti’s middle name, Maxine, was inspired by another close relative.
“We already wanted to call her middle name Maxine, after my grandmother, whose middle name was Maxine… So there’s a lot of my family in the name.”
The couple’s third child was born healthy after the Bring The Funny host lost her unborn son Jack earlier in September 2020.
She later revealed that she had to have an abortion at the time due to the fact that “it became very clear halfway through that he wasn’t going to survive, and neither would I without some medical intervention,” according to the Hollywood reporter.
On the day Esti was born, the Green Light singer stated to the public during one of his concerts that according to People.

The couple are also parents to Luna Simone Stephens, 7, and Miles Theodore Stephens, 5.
They welcomed their fourth child, Wren Alexander Stephens, in June via surrogate.
Before Esti was even born, the author of Cravings: Hungry For More responded to a fan who inquired whether or not the couple’s third child was born via surrogate.
Another follower even claimed Chrissy’s pregnancy belly was a “moon bump,” essentially a pregnancy prosthesis.
The executive producer of Chrissy’s Court responded by posting a photo of her ultrasound while she was still pregnant with Esti, captioning the photo with a caption that read “Extremely realistic ‘moon bump’.”
