Ninja has launched a new three-in-one coffee maker that makes precisely measured espresso, cold brew and filter coffee. The Ninja Luxe Café also features a 25-setting grinder, a scale to measure out the perfect dose of coffee for your favorite brew, an automatic milk frother and a whisk to get just the right texture for your drink.
The espresso option lets you choose your desired strength and temperature, with double and quadruple shot settings for those mornings when you need an extra pick-me-up to get you going.
The drip coffee option can brew 6-18oz of coffee hot or cold, and for summer the machine can also make cold-pressed espresso shots (handy for an espresso martini or espresso and tonic). Cold pressing doesn’t extract the same flavors as using hot water, and (like cold brew) it generally produces a less acidic, smoother tasting drink.
If you’re not sure how to use a steam wand, there’s also a hands-free frothing system that combines steaming and whisking to get just the right texture. You can use dairy or plant-based milk, and you can choose between steamed milk, thin foam, thick foam, and cold foam. The only thing it doesn’t do is pour your latte art for you.
The Ninja Luxury Café is for sale direct from Ninja for $499.99, making it a more affordable alternative to multifunction coffee makers like the all-singing, all-dancing Jura Z10 (albeit without the Wi-Fi connectivity). The Luxe Café will also be available soon at Amazon, Best Buy, and Target.
