ESPN reveals its ‘Selection Sunday’ schedule ahead of the start of March Madness

ESPN has unveiled some major schedule changes for its “Selection Sunday” coverage, with March Madness taking center stage on the sports network starting this week as seedings and rankings are set to be announced.

Christine Williamson and Rece Davis – hosts of the College GameDay basketball show on ESPN – will lead the presentation of all 68 teams in the men’s and women’s divisions of this year’s NCAA Tournament.

The men’s race goes public at 6:00 PM ET, with ESPN showing live reactions on SportsCenter before transitioning to a special hour-long talk show with analysis from Jay Bilas, Seth Greenberg and Jay Williams. Davis will remain on air to host the program.

At 8:00 PM ET, heads will turn to the unveiling of the women’s bracket, which will be hosted by Elle Duncan.

Williamson will next provide an in-depth review of both brackets in a special 9 p.m. ET presentation of “Bracketology.”

She will also be featured in a program looking ahead to Monday’s NCAA Tournament. The host is Bilas.

March Madness kicks off on Tuesday with the First Four. The national championship game will be played on Monday, April 8 at 9:20 PM

The 2024 NCAA Men’s Final Four will be played at State Farm Stadium in Phoenix, Arizona.

Rece Davis, who regularly appears on SportsCenter, will fill his usual role on the show

The Women’s Final Four will take place on April 5-7 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio.

Williamson regularly appears on ESPN’s basketball coverage, including Get Up! on weekday mornings with Greenberg.

She also replaces Molly Qerim on First Take when the regular host is not on the show.

Davis works as an anchor at ESPN’s SportsCenter and hosts several other programs on the network, including the College GameDay football and basketball road shows.

Since 2021, he has been the network’s main host for international football events.
