She posted on Christmas Day that she and her husband Josh had taken their son Jack — who was born in May, according to the network — to a hospital.
“I was hesitant to post this because I don't want anyone to think we're asking for pity,” she wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
The post included photos of herself, her husband Josh, a former Boston Red Sox baseball player infielder, and their son in the helicopter.

“Unlike many parents, we were able to take our baby home today after a hospital visit,” she wrote.
She said she, her husband and son were transferred in a helicopter from Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC to MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital in Charleston due to the emergency.
Rutledge thanked the hospitals, as well as the people at Airlink Novant Health who “treated our little man as if he were their own and provided reassurance in the most terrifying moments.”
“Thank you to the strangers who assisted us today. First responders are amazing,” she added.
Earlier Wednesday, she gave an update, complete with a photo of young Jack, all smiles.
“We are so grateful for your prayers for baby Jack. We all felt them,” Rutledge wrote.
'I write this with gratitude for the miracle that took place for him, while also knowing that so many of these stories do not have a happy ending. Thinking of all of you who have endured much worse,” she added.
Rutledge did not go into details about what her son experienced, but said that “no additional surgery is required and his pain has been significantly reduced. He has a long recovery ahead of him, but they expect a full recovery!'
