Escaped convict Danelo Cavalcante was spotted at a Pennsylvania property trying to intimidate the owner, who immediately called authorities.

The Brazilian felon, 34, escaped from Chester County’s maximum security prison on Thursday morning and was last seen Monday evening in Longwood Gardens, Pennsylvania.

Authorities have confirmed that the Pennsylvania State Police are being assisted by the FBI in the manhunt for the convicted killer.

Cavalcante was sentenced to life in prison two weeks ago for the April 2021 murder of his ex-girlfriend Débora Brandao, 34, mother of two.

Two Pennsylvania school districts closed on Tuesday after the sighting, which saw a reverse 911 alert issued to everyone within a three-mile radius.

The Unionville-Chadds Ford School District and the Kennett Consolidated School District canceled classes and remain in contact with authorities.

Lt. Col. George Bevins, deputy commissioner of operations for the Pennsylvania State Police, confirmed that Cavalcante was caught on camera late Monday.

He was seen wearing a white T-shirt, with Bevins confirming he was near Longwood Gardens, heading north at 8:21 p.m. and south at the same location at 9:33 p.m.

“He hasn’t changed his appearance, but has acquired a backpack, a duffel bag and a hooded sweatshirt,” Bevins added.

Authorities confirmed they sent a reverse 911 at 5 a.m. Tuesday morning to residents within 1.5 miles of the camera that caught Cavalcante, and a second to a 3-mile radius at 5:30 a.m.

State police confirmed they launched an “hour-long” search near the Pocopson township on Monday, but were “unable to locate him.”

Bevins confirmed that the FBI had now joined the manhunt for the convicted killer.
