Man City striker Erling Haaland has spoken about his Champions League and World Cup aspirations by appearing on the cover of GQ’s second annual global sports edition.

The Norwegian striker has enjoyed a fantastic debut season for the club, scoring 33 goals in 30 appearances in all competitions.

She’s taken an unlikely fashion step, appearing on the cover of GQ’s sports edition, wearing a £2,000 jacket and £690 Givenchy jumper.

Haaland, wearing a £3,800 jacket, spoke about his Champions League and World Cup hopes.

In another image, he is seen dressed all in white with a £3,800 jacket and a sweater valued at £325.

In the magazine he talks about his hopes of success with Man City and Norway.

He said: “I will try to do everything in my power to win trophies here with Manchester City and try to be a game changer, my goal is to win the Champions League.”

On the success with his country he added: ‘Norway is a small, small nation, 5.5 million, I think less.

So we are not a great nation. But again you see at the World Cup small nations doing fantastic things.

‘We hope to qualify (in 2026), that’s my biggest goal with them. Hopefully one day I can play knockout matches with Norway.
