Erika Ishii, Aabria Iyengar and Felicia Day aren’t afraid to cringe

The Twenty-sided tavern is a real DnD show where the audience participates. By scanning a QR code in your program, you will be assigned one of three players on stage and can assist with their challenges along the way. I went to the show myself and really enjoyed participating. It was spirited and fun and kept the show moving and feeling interactive without being distracting.

Iyengar and Day both took turns as players and gave Ishii critical advice during the course of our conversation, which was streamed live to Polygon’s Twitch channel.

Of course, a simple interview isn’t really our style – and with three experienced role players we felt it would be a shame not to make use of their skills! We had the three roles against a QC (question class) to determine the quality of the questions we asked. They rose to the challenge, even adeptly dealing with a critical failure from Ishii in the Cringe Dungeon along the way. Watch the full interview, full of wisdom, insights and kindness from three incredibly talented artists.
