BEIN Sports Carrie Brown has admitted she was 'a bit surprised' by Erik ten Hag's reaction to his side's defeat to West Ham during their post-post interview.
The Red Devils' dismal season continued on Saturday with a 2-0 defeat to West Ham at the London Stadium, with Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus scoring the goals in the second half.
United had the better chances in the first half, but had to pay for their waste.
Speaking to Brown after the match, Ten Hag said: 'I think we had the game under control and we didn't give West Ham United anything'
'We were so dominant in the build-up and also created opportunities in transition. I think the first three chances of the game were ours; we have to take them with us.'

He added: It was a solid performance but we didn't score. And I think we had the game under control. You win the game if you score the goal.'
Brown then challenged his view and asked if he really thought it was a good performance from United, and Ten Hag doubled down.
âYes, I think we were in complete control both in possession and out of possession,â the under-fire Dutchman continued.
“I think we probably didn't give the opponent anything until the 72nd minute, [then there was] a moment of switching off.'
And Brown has taken to Twitter to give her thoughts on the exchange, writing: 'understandably I was a little surprised by this opinion' and asking United fans for their thoughts.
