Erik ten Hag issues rallying call to his Man United players to ‘stick together and believe in themselves’ after suffering 13th defeat of the season as West Ham burst Red Devils’ bubble

Erik ten Hag cut a sad figure on Saturday after his Manchester United team lost for the 13th time this season – and urged his players to stick together for the battle that lies ahead.

The defeat at West Ham means the under-fire Dutchman has endured the club's worst start since 1930.

“We have players who can do it,” he said, after goals from Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus secured victory for the Hammers, moving them above United in the Premier League.

“They have proven in the past that they can do it,” said Ten Hag.
