Erik ten Hag has revealed that Antony is ‘disappointed’ with his current situation and admitted there is no end date on when he may rejoin his Manchester United teammates.

Antony is currently spending time away from the club as he deals with allegations of domestic abuse. The player denies any wrongdoing and has not been arrested or charged.

The assault allegations were made by three separate women, including former partner Gabriela Cavallin, who claimed the footballer assaulted her four times.

The 23-year-old is unavailable for this weekend’s match with Brighton after United and the player mutually agreed an indefinite leave of absence from the club.

United manager Ten Hag, who was responsible for bringing Antony to the club last summer in an £85million deal with Ajax, has spoken out about the situation for the first time ahead of Saturday’s Premier League match, but revealed very little about the current situation.
