Erik ten Hag has given positive injury news about Antony, claiming the striker’s initial injury assessment wasn’t too bad’ and while also claiming he could be available for their crucial FA Cup final against rivals, Manchester City next week.
The Argentine striker was taken off on a stretcher after appearing to sustain an ankle injury in a tackle with Trevoh Chalobah during the Red Devils’ 4-1 win against Chelse on Thursday.
Speaking on MUTVsaid the Dutch manager: ‘We’ve all seen how he [Antony] came loose and didn’t look great. But the first estimate is not too bad and there is a good chance that he will be available for the cup final next week.’
