Erik ten Hag has admitted he understands the boos from Manchester United supporters following their side's shock 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth at Old Trafford.
United were brought back down to earth with a thunderous crash after the humiliation on home field left them adrift of the Champions League places.
An early breakthrough from Dominic Solanke gave the in-form visitors the lead, before goals from Philip Billing and Marcos Senesi piled on United's misery.
The full-time whistle was greeted with loud cheers from the remaining Red Devils supporters and after the match Ten Hag insisted he empathized with their anger.
“I understand that they are disappointed and frustrated,” said Ten Hag. 'We are all. We have to do better and we have to do that every game.'

The United boss subsequently took the blame for his side's miserable performance.
“I have to take responsibility for it,” he added. 'We are really inconsistent. We have the opportunity, but we have to do it every game. You need consistency.
'We can play a very good match against many opponents. We can do it, but you have to do it every third day. If you do it right, the requirements are of a certain standard.
“We need to go to higher standards to deliver it every third day.”
The victory marked Bournemouth's first-ever victory at Old Trafford and condemned United to an 11th defeat in 23 games this season, seven of which came in the top flight.
A reeling United next host Bayern Munich in the Champions League before visiting current leaders Liverpool, a ground where they have not triumphed since early 2016.

“I don't think we are good enough as a team to be consistent and that we have to work as a team to improve that,” Ten Hag said in a scathing assessment.
“We are really inconsistent, we have the capabilities to do it, but you have to do it every game and every third day.
'As a group we have to improve. We have to toughen up so that we are ready for the match from the start.
'I said on Friday: you can't do it in this competition if you don't play at the highest level, because then you will be killed.
“That's what happened in those five minutes and then you follow the facts.”
