Erica Packer, the former ex of billionaire James Packer, surprised everyone by gifting her $4.3 million luxurious Vaucluse home to her sister Joanna.

The transfer of ownership happened recently, with Erica transferring title to her sister for just $1 The Sunday Telegraph.

Despite dividing her time between Los Angeles, Aspen and London, Erica had retained a 5% interest in the Burrabirra Avenue residence.

However, in 2019, she decided to transfer the remaining 95% ownership to her sister and brother-in-law, David Hunter.

Originally purchased in 2006 for $4.3 million by a company associated with James Packer, the lavish four-bedroom, four-bathroom home sits on a sprawling 487 square feet.

The transfer of ownership took place recently, with Erica transferring title to her sister for just $1, according to The Sunday Telegraph

James, who was once ranked Australia’s richest person, had transferred the property to Erica’s name when they were dating.

The couple later became engaged and married in 2007.

Unfortunately, their marriage didn’t go that far as they separated in 2013, just months after settling into their beautiful $70 million mansion in Vaucluse called La Mer.

The lavish four-bedroom, four-bath home was originally purchased in 2006 for $4.3 million by a company associated with James Packer and sits on a sprawling 487-square-foot lot.

Despite their divorce, Erica and James successfully co-parent their three children, and their relationship remains amicable.

Recently, the Packer family spent some quality time in Sydney, in James’ lavish $72 million Crown Barangaroo apartment.

Erica took charge of renovating the apartment, making sure to replace the former lavish aesthetic with something fresh and contemporary.

They were also pictured boarding Packer’s private jet in Sydney with their three children.
