Eric Trump lashes out at crime-ridden Manhattan’s DA Alvin Bragg for indicting his dad

Eric Trump has lashed out at Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg for charging his father amid a wave of “theft, homelessness and crime” in the Big Apple.

Eric said his father’s persecution was hypocritical and called on authorities to pay attention to President Biden’s son Hunter, who was photographed in a series of incriminating shots with prostitutes while high.

Trump was unexpectedly indicted Thursday over a secret $130,000 payment made to porn star Stormy Daniels in 2016.

It marked a victory for Bragg, whose office was responsible for investigating the payments.

But Eric lashed out at the DA’s persecution of his father in a furious rant on Thursday night’s episode of Hannity.

Eric Trump has lashed out at Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg for charging his father amid a wave of “theft, homelessness and crime” in the Big Apple.

‘This is a city that is falling apart. I went into CVS, you can’t handle Tylenol, he’s locked up behind the counters, there’s so much theft, homelessness and crime, but his focus is on Donald Trump,” he said.

“Girls get shot in Time Square and go after Donald Trump. Give me a break.’

It appeared to refer to an incident in May 2021 when three innocent bystanders, including a four-year-old girl, were shot in Times Square.

Bragg became Manhattan district attorney several months later, in November 2021.

Eric also listed a series of indiscretions committed by other former presidents and their relatives, which were never prosecuted by the courts.

These included nude shots of Hunter Biden frolicking with a prostitute and a gun and Bill Clinton’s $850,000 payment to public servant Paula Jones after she accused him of sexual harassment and assault.

He also touched on the Hillary Clinton email controversy in which she sent messages from a personal account during her four years as Barack Obama’s secretary of state.

“These are third world tactics,” Eric said.

‘Hunter Biden frat imagines his lament. Bill Clinton paying Paula Jones. bill clinton fooling the interns at the white house in the oval office.

‘Hillary Clinton deleting emails under subpoena – and no one says anything about those people.

‘When my dad leads the polls and he’s the guy Biden will ultimately run up against. Guess who they’re after?

Hunter, 52, has been embroiled in a bitter legal battle with the owner of a computer repair shop who leaked a litany of her nude photos and private messages belonging to the president’s son in 2020.

Hunter had left the laptop at the store and was unable to pick it up.

Earlier in the evening, Eric told Dailymail.com that the case against his father was an “opportunistic attack by a political opponent in a campaign year.”

Trump is now reportedly expected to be arraigned on Tuesday after weeks of speculation that an arrest was imminent.

The allegations against Trump center on a $130,000 hush payment made by Michael Cohen, Trump’s former lawyer and fixer, to Daniels, 44, during the 2016 presidential campaign.

Former President Donald Trump

A grand jury has been hearing evidence on allegations that Donald Trump paid $130,000 to adult film star Stormy Daniels to buy her silence about his affair.

The former president has always denied having an affair with Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford.

But the case haunted him during his time in office after triggering a federal investigation.

Although the Justice Department decided not to charge Trump and the Federal Election Commission was deadlocked on taking action on claims the payment amounted to an unreported campaign contribution, the Manhattan district attorney was still analyzing the case.

And it got a new impetus in early 2023 when Cohen met with investigators from the Manhattan district attorney’s office and word broke that a grand jury was hearing evidence.

Such hearings are held in secret. But one theory was that he was investigating Trump for falsifying business records in connection with the payment, by allegedly misreporting a campaign donation as a legal fee.

That amounts to a misdemeanor. But that becomes a felony if it is committed in conjunction with a second crime, such as a campaign finance violation.

On Saturday, March 18, Trump said he would be arrested by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office the following Tuesday.

However, the arrest did not materialize and the case fell silent in recent weeks.

Trump responded to news of the impeachment with an angry statement calling it “political persecution and election interference at the highest level in history.”

“I think this witch hunt will backfire on Joe Biden,” his statement read.

‘The American people realize exactly what the radical left Democrats are doing here. Everyone can see it.
