Eric Dier has condemned the behavior of a Spurs fan who kicked Aaron Ramsdale after the North London derby.

Arsenal triumphed in the clash between the bitter rivals, with Mikel Arteta’s side securing three points thanks to a Martin Odegaard goal and a Hugo Lloris mistake that led fans online to call for the Cup winner to be removed of the world.

After the final whistle, Ramsdale became embroiled in a dispute with returning Spurs star Richarlison. The couple had to be separated by officials after a tense exchange of words.

The 24-year-old goalkeeper went to collect his water bottle behind the Tottenham Hotspur stadium goal when a fan climbed over the fence and kicked him in the back.

Speaking after the match, Dier called the incident “unacceptable” but insisted that he had not seen the event.

“I didn’t see it, but it’s obviously unacceptable and it shouldn’t have happened. There’s nothing more I can say.

Ramsadale also shared his thoughts on the incident after the game. He said: ‘The Spurs fans were giving me a bit of crack in the second half, and I gave them a bit back.

Ramsdale, who had moved away from the Tottenham striker, made his way towards the goal to collect his water bottle.

Richarlison was still yelling at the Arsenal goalkeeper when a fan decided to take matters into his own hands by kicking Ramsdale.

Ramsdale ducked to pick up his water bottle after arguing with the Spurs star and was kicked by a Tottenham supporter.

“The few people I gave it to were probably well received, in a sporting manner.” But then a fan jumped up and gave me a little punch in the back.

The goalkeeper added: “That’s what happened, and it’s a shame because in the end it’s just a football game.”

The former Sheffield United star put in a flawless performance in the clash, denying a goal-scoring effort from Son Heung-Min in the first half and repeatedly preventing Spurs from getting back into the game with several saves after the break.
