Eras vs Errors Tour! Dave Grohl makes enemy of Taylor Swift after saying Foo Fighters ‘actually play live’… but who has the most fans and biggest claim to fame?
Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour has been dominating the global music scene for over a year now, breaking world records and bringing tens of thousands of fans to massive stadiums almost every month.
But while the queen of pop has been inundated with five-star reviews, one of her industry colleagues appears to have been less impressed, taking a pointed jab at the singer.
Foo Fighters legend Dave Grohl had a hit with the US superstar this weekend, suggesting 34-year-old Swift will not be singing live during her lengthy show.
Joking with his audience, the band had dubbed their tour the “errors” tour, joking that his band had “only a few eras left and more than a few damn mistakes” because they “actually play live.”
While Grohl, 55, claimed he “didn’t want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift,” the billionaire singer made a point last night while playing her third sold-out tour at Wembley Stadium to thank her band for playing “live.” playing for three and a half hours.

“What you just did is an unforgettable moment, not just for my life, but for the lives of our entire team. The band that will play live for you for three and a half hours tonight,” she told her audience.
“They deserve this so much, and so do all my fellow artists, and you just gave that to us so generously. We will never forget it.’
The rock band’s frontman took a swipe at Swift at the London Stadium – just miles from where the pop icon performed her sold-out Wembley Stadium show in front of 89,000 fans.
It has put the Seattle-born band, which formed in 1994, at odds with Swift, who started out as a country singer and released her first album in 2008 at just 16.
While the Foo Fighters’ success has continued for decades – with the band staging ten worldwide tours and selling more than 30 million records – solo artist Swift has eclipsed their long-running fame.
There are estimated to be more than 100 million Swifties around the world, with 50 million adults in the US alone claiming to be fans of the singer. Meanwhile, the Foo Fighters clan has more than 27 million fans around the world.

The country star turned pop singer has a net worth of $1.3 billion, which now makes her the richest musician in the world.
Although Grohl alone has a staggering net worth of $320 million, this is just a fraction of the enormous sum Swift has amassed through her massive retail portfolio and her profitable world tour.
Swift, who began her career fourteen years after the Foo Fighters, has also had twelve number one hits in less than twenty years – just one more than the rock bands’ eleven number one hits.

Joking with the London audience, Grohl said, “We were joking earlier about the Taylor Swift tour. I know she’s on her ‘mistakes’ tour.
“I’m telling you man, you don’t want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift. That’s why we like to call our tour the Mistakes Tour.

The bandleader further clarified: ‘That’s because we actually play live. What?’.
As the crowd erupted in applause, he said, “I’m just saying. You guys like raw live rock ‘n’ roll music, right? You’ve come to the right place!’
Some Swifties online responded to Grohl’s comments about Swift’s tour, with one writing: ‘Oh Tayvoodoo is coming for him and he deserves it. I can’t deal with the fact that a woman is more talented and more successful.’
Another added: ‘Wow, Grohl is so washed he has to use Taylor’s name for free PR? Shameful thought he was better than that, what a shame.’
Despite the jab at Swift, the pair were previously on good terms with Grohl, praising Swift for the decision to re-record her albums so she could win the master recordings.
Grohl also once told how he was ‘saved’ by Swift after she assisted him during a performance at Sir Paul McCartney’s party.
Last night, Swift continued her run of sold-out shows in Britain, performing at Wembley Stadium for the third time.
