Epping crash: Two teenagers seriously injured and their friends remain on the run after stolen car collides with another vehicle in northern Melbourne
Two teenagers have been hospitalized under police guard and two others have fled after their alleged stolen car collided with another vehicle.
Emergency services were called to a two-car collision at the intersection of Civic Drive and McDonalds Road in Epping, Melbourne’s north, at around 2:25 a.m. on Tuesday.
It is clear that four teenagers were driving an allegedly stolen MG hatch.
Witnesses told police the car was speeding before running a red light and crashing into the second car.

It is understood that two teenagers fled on foot, leaving a 16-year-old woman and a 13-year-old man seriously injured in the MG.
Both teens were taken to hospital under police guard as officers continued the search for the missing couple with the help of the Dog Squad.
A 30-year-old man who was driving the second car was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
An officer reportedly said that if a passenger had been sitting on the left side of the car, they would have been killed, Sunrise reported.
Police claimed the white MG was stolen after checking the license plates.
Victoria Police have appealed to anyone who witnessed or has dash cam footage of the crash to contact Crime Stoppers.
