Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez has offered himself to Barcelona, reports in Spain claim.
The Blues’ £107million signing scored a stunning free-kick against Aston Villa in the FA Cup on Wednesday and held up his shirt in celebration, as if to hit back at reports claiming he was looking for an exit .
Fernandez’s move to Stamford Bridge was disappointing, especially as he signed Moises Caicedo in midfield for a record £115million fee, but his overall performance was excellent in Chelsea’s 3-1 win over Villa in midweek.
According to SportFernandez’s agent has approached the LaLiga giants, with the Argentine keen to move to Camp Nou.
The Spanish outlet reports that the World Cup winner will struggle to move due to his long-term contract at Stamford Bridge, which expires in 2032.

Player agent Uriel Perez insisted Fernandez is fully focused on Mauricio Pochettino’s project at Chelsea. ESPN last week: ‘This (the rumours) came from the London press, I don’t understand why.
“Both Enzo and I are very clear about what this project is, which was passed on to me on the day of the World Cup final.”
The Blues have had another difficult season under Pochettino and sit 11th in the Premier League, following a 4-2 defeat to Wolves last weekend.
