Chelsea’s £107m new signing Enzo Fernandez is available to play in their Premier League clash against Fulham tonight as paperwork has been completed.
Fernández’s impressive move had been agreed in the dying minutes of the transfer window, as both clubs spent Tuesday in talks to try and finalize the move.
With the deal being rushed in the closing stages, there were fears that the Argentine may have had to wait to make his debut as his international clearance had not yet gone through yesterday.
Its paperwork is signed and stamped, meaning it’s in dispute by Blues boss Graham Potter.
World Cup winner Argentina, who joined for a British record fee, is now expected to turn up for Chelsea in some form tonight at Stamford Bridge.

The Argentine midfielder’s paperwork is already signed, which means he is in contention for the Blues
Fernández was named best young player when Argentina won the World Cup in Qatar last year, and could help revive a fading season for Chelsea that has seen them slip to 10th in the league.
Talking with him club website after arrival, Fernández said: ‘Chelsea is a great club, it is a club that is always fighting for trophies and has won the Champions League in recent years. Together we will seek to achieve everything the club wants and take it to the next level.
‘My family and I are very happy to be here in London and to be able to enjoy the city. I think it’s a really beautiful city, so we’ll enjoy it and have a good time.
‘I haven’t played any of my new teammates yet and haven’t had a chance to chat with any of them yet, but I know who they are and I’m looking forward to working with all of them!’
Potter faces a selection headache for tonight’s clash and it could be interesting to see how many of his new signings he fielded against his west London rivals.

The Blues were busy during the transfer window, having signed Joao Felix, Benoit Badiashile, Mykhailo Mudryk, David Datro Fofana, Andrey Santos, Noni Madueke and Malo Gusto for a record £323m outlay in January.
Most of those stars will be available for selection, while foursome Ben Chilwell, Reece James, Raheem Sterling and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are also back in contention after returning from injury.
Potter admitted in his pre-match press conference yesterday: ‘[They] They are on the squad, they couldn’t play 90 minutes but they are on the squad.
Wesley [Fofana] He is training with the squad but will take a step forward. We are still without the others.
Mateo Kovacic, N’Golo Kante, Christian Pulisic, Armando Broja and Denis Zakaria remain out.
