Young mother and entrepreneur Georgie Stevenson has revealed her top tips for getting what you want, after using her quirks as a source of power when she decided to start a business.
The 28-year-old from Queensland told FEMAIL that ‘stepping into her power’ has been a great journey, but now she feels liberated and doesn’t regret following her intuition.
“I felt like I could get through anything,” the successful businesswoman said. Georgie has decided to mentor other women in 2023, so they too can feel comfortable in her own skin.
The motivational coach who uses podcasts and social media to educate her audience has more than 695,000 followers, and says it’s all about following her ‘basic four steps’.
Her four tips include acceptance, having clear goals and values, having integrity, and letting go of any anxiety about how others see you.
‘Meet Where You Are: The famous philosopher Carl Jung has a quote that stuck with me: “You can’t change anything until we accept it; damnation doesn’t release; it oppresses.” For me, this was a great moment where I realized that in order to progress and evolve, I first have to accept myself now,” he said.
‘Accepting yourself now, being grateful for the past experiences that shaped you, but also knowing that you can shape the future gives you a lot of power. Ask yourself, am I meeting where I am right now?

The second piece of advice is to be clear about who you want to be and what you value.
“There is so much power in getting clear,” he said.
‘This gives us an internal compass to always ask ourselves questions, instead of probing others. Just to be clear, I personally love journaling, making a vision board, and sitting down with the feeling of what I want to attract.
Integrity comes later.
“After you are clear about who you want to be and what is your priority,” he said.
Clarifying: “I call this my next level self and my vision.” ‘It’s time to make sure you stay integral with them. One thing that has helped me come into my own is that before I make a decision, I ask myself, “Is this in line with my vision and my next level self?” this helps me make decisions that increase my self-confidence and self-esteem.
“Continuing to make decisions with integrity also builds self-confidence which will help you feel empowered,” he added.
“Ultimately, stepping into my power means that I don’t care how others see me,” he said.
‘If I receive a judgment that bothers me, I first recognize that this may be causing an internal wound that I need to address or journal about.

‘Second, I remember that any judgment someone else has says more about them than it does about me.
‘If you are implementing the steps above, other opinions are of no value as it is integral to your most authentic self. When this happens, you will feel liberated.
Georgie has given this advice in collaboration with the new Best&Less lingerie range, which encourages all women to own their ‘self power’.
She was excited to post about the range on Instagram.
‘My loves, make this Valentine’s Day for YOU. single, complicated or married, it doesn’t matter, it’s about the love you give yourself,’ he wrote.
‘Access your power, do something you’ve always wanted to do, reach out to a friend, buy the lingerie just for you, bake your favorite treat, take a rose petal bath. Anything that speaks your love language, just for you!
