Entertainment guru takes aim at Meghan Markle for not going to King Charles III’s Coronation
Australian showbiz guru targets Meghan Markle for not attending King Charles III’s coronation: ‘She doesn’t want to face the music’
Australian entertainment reporter Peter Ford has unleashed Meghan Markle for choosing not to attend King Charles III’s coronation.
Peter appeared 6PR Breakfast with Millsy and Karl on Thursday to discuss the news, the Duchess of Sussex will disapprove of her father-in-law’s memorable day.
“She knows there’s aggression [aggression], she knows that people can call her names. She doesn’t want to face the music of chaos and suffering for which she is largely responsible,” said Mr Ford.
He subsequently labeled her decision to stay home and look after the couple’s two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, as a “bullshit” excuse.
Prince Harry will attend the coronation, with Buckingham Palace releasing a statement saying King Charles was “deeply disappointed” that Meghan and his grandchildren were unable to attend the event.

The same statement said King Charles was “delighted” that Prince Harry was in attendance.
“Having said all that, there is a small part of me that feels sorry for them both,” Ford continued.
“In it, whatever they decided, people would come after them.”
“I think this is probably the best result,” he finished.

It comes after Ford previously criticized The Duchess for releasing her podcast episode hours before the 25th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death.
The outspoken showbiz reporter couldn’t hide his disapproval in September, telling The Morning Show: ‘This anniversary wasn’t exactly a surprise; we knew it was coming.’
“So why schedule that interview for yesterday? Why not postpone the podcast for a week? You know, get off the news cycle,” he added to co-hosts Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies.

Ford, who has never been shy about criticizing the Sussexes, later reposted the clip on Twitter and added the sarcastic caption: “Guess who’s joining the news cycle on the 25th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death?”
In a series of other tweets, Ford suggested that instead of releasing another celebrity interview, Meghan could have honored Diana’s legacy.
‘[She could have done] a podcast out today that talks about Diana’s legacy and causes she supported. Really would get massive coverage if she did it,” Ford tweeted at the time.
Or else she has the power to tell Spotify not to release it for 24 hours. Surely Harry must be thinking about this?’ He’s ready.
