Enjoying the wedding night? Shirtless Ashley Cole emerges the morning after exchanging vows with wife Sharon – revealing a love bite on her neck as they unwind in Italy
It was a case of the morning after the night before when Ashley Cole and new wife Sharon Canu performed for the first time since they got married in Italy on Monday.
The pair were spotted relaxing outside the five-star La Posta Vecchia hotel in Ladispoli as they began their honeymoon after exchanging vows in front of close friends and relatives just 24 hours earlier.
When he emerged shirtless, former Chelsea and England ace Ashley, 42, revealed his extensive collection of tattoos as he relaxed on his balcony.
The retired footballer, who has since turned pundit, seemed to be in good spirits as he chatted with friends and remaining guests – including former The Only Way Is Essex star Sam Faiers, her partner Paul Knightley and their children.
Joining her husband, Sharon suggested the couple had enjoyed an amorous wedding night by revealing what appeared to be a large love bite on her neck.

The pair said ‘yes’ abroad in front of family and friends – including Frank and Christine Lampard, John Terry and Sam Faiers and her partner Paul Knightley.
The marriage comes 12 years after his four-year marriage to pop star Cheryl, 40, ended.
Sharon and Ashley share son Jaxon, six, and four-year-old daughter Grace, and the pair confirmed their engagement last year after first meeting in 2014.
Guests were invited to Hotel La Vecchia Posta in Ladispoli to take part in the festivities, which included a fireworks display and a live orchestra.
The couple exchanged vows in the romantic setting under a floral archway as the ocean stretched out behind them before walking back down the aisle.
A number of guests shared photos and videos of the wedding on social media where Sharon sparkled in a lace off-the-shoulder gown.
She wore her blonde locks pinned up as she enjoyed a drink on the hotel’s balcony and chatted with the guests.
Former TOWIE star Sam, 32, wore a bright pink dress as she spoke to partner Paul at the reception.

Elsewhere, a chic Christine, 44, wore a navy blue silk number as she cozyed up with husband Frank after the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Ashley beamed from ear to ear as they got confetti and held hands.
At the reception, the newlyweds and their guests danced the night away as John Terry grabbed the microphone to lead a sing-along.
A source told The sun earlier this month on the wedding: “Ashley and Sharon are madly in love and have spent months planning their special day.
“They met in 2014 when he joined AS Roma and now they are returning to the city for their wedding.
“A lot of her family lives there and it’s very romantic — it’s going to be a very special day.” They put a lot of money into it, but they only invited close friends and family.

Sharon celebrated her final days as a single lady last month with an epic bachelorette party in Ibiza.
The model soaked up the sun as she partied with a large group of friends, including reality star Sam.
Sam also shared a hilarious selfie on Instagram of the group on the plane wearing masks with Ashley Cole’s face on them.
The group also posed before boarding the flight while donning matching tracksuits that read “Team Bride.”
Sam, a mother of three, was beaming with a smile on her sunny trip with her best friends as she posed for a picture as they embraced.
Between the chickens, Sam revealed that the girl shared 21 kids between them and danced to the song 21 seconds by So Solid Crew in a video she shared on her Instagram story.
She captioned her posts: “On Thursday we flew to Ibiza for our @sharoncanu bachelorette party.
‘I haven’t been home that long, we had the best time.
‘We laughed, danced and sang all the time (I have no voice left) I love you all so much.
“The moment we realized we have 21 kids between us… there was only one number at that point. #mumsontheloose.’
Sharon beamed in a slew of snaps shared on social media in which the ladies enjoyed a lavish boat ride followed by cocktails.
She later donned a silver fringed mini dress which she paired with a bejeweled bridal hat.
After Ashley popped the question last year, Sharon later told Instagram followers it was the “easiest yes she’d ever said.”
The couple met in 2014, shortly after his move from Chelsea to Roma, before moving to Los Angeles two years later.
