Now Chesney is making his ultimate comeback, collaborating with Ed Sheeran and Lady Gaga producer Jake Gosling.

Get A Hold Of Yourself is set for release on September 18th and is available for pre-sale now. It hopes to emulate the success of The One And Only, unlike its predecessors.

Chesney said The sun of the song, which will be heard on Radio 2 the same day: ‘It’s really strange to experience all this again – three decades later and with three decades of maturity.

‘It took me a long time to have the confidence to throw myself into a project again, but as I matured and felt much more comfortable and free, I was able to do it.

‘That’s what Get A Hold Of Yourself is about – taking control of yourself and being free and not giving a f**k what people think. I think people will be surprised that this is a Chesney track. I can’t wait for people to hear it and I think they’ll be surprised by the video!

In April, Chesney revealed he had blown £8.2million after achieving such huge success at the age of 19.

Speaking of the My Dirty Laundry PodcastChesney admitted he had burned himself out from “complete exhaustion” due to his “crazy” lifestyle.

He admits he can identify with fellow stars Harry Styles and Ed Sheeran and urges young people in the industry to “be careful and make sure they don’t burn out like he did.”

Chesney admitted, “I did that classic thing when I first made it, where I just blew everything up. I bought a state-of-the-art studio. I bought everybody in my family a car. So yeah, we had fun.

“My brother Jodie is my drummer and he was with me all the time. And yeah, we enjoyed it, because we were young. We were 19 and 17, and we toured all over the world – America, Japan, it was a great time.

“It was like I was living in the eye of a storm. So I had my family and the people around me in kind of a bubble, you know?

“I’d get thrown into a hurricane and I’d be gone. And then I’d go to Sweden and then I’d go to New York. I never knew where I was going to wake up that first year. It was crazy. It was really crazy.”
