‘Both English, going to work, late twenties and both sick of cooking.’
Ms Davies quoted a price of £600, which equates to $1,156 Australian dollars.
The price is well within the price range of renting in Sydney, with an average price of $700 per week.
The social media post immediately attracted a number of disturbing offers from men, including one offer to share their bed.

A third added: “Do you still have that room with the peephole?”
One of them suggested he move back to the area just to live with the two women.
“We will have to convert the front room into sleeping quarters,” wrote another.

Other social media users made fun of the situation, joking that residents should not rent their rooms to them.
“Messy girls, avoid!” someone wrote in a tongue-in-cheek comment.
