Heather Knight has urged England fans to turn out in force to see off New Zealand at Lord’s on Wednesday night.
England go into the final match with an unassailable 4-0 lead in the best-of-five series.
It is their last match of the summer on home soil, while the main target, the Women’s T20 World Cup in Bangladesh, is just over two months away.
And England captain Knight hopes her strong team will receive massive support as they look to close out their series against the White Ferns and start the summer on a high.
“In terms of results and performances this has been an unprecedented summer for us so far and it would be absolutely fantastic if we could finish with an unprecedented crowd at Lord’s,” said the 33-year-old.

Knight, who along with teammates Lauren Bell, Sophia Dunkley, Sarah Glenn and Danni Wyatt recently showed off their trick shots in a new movie at Lord’s, continued: ‘It’s a big moment for us to be playing at Lord’s, it feels really special and it’s always going to be exciting to play in front of that many people in a big stadium.
‘It adds something to the whole event and because it’s our last home game before the World Cup, it’s even bigger.
“I get goosebumps just thinking about walking there. The support for women’s sports across the country is at an all-time high and we’re excited to hopefully continue that trend.”
England begin their T20 World Cup campaign on October 3 against South Africa at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.
